The British School of Málaga expands its facilities with a new Primary building
We have had a lot of positive news during 2021/2021 and we couldn´t be ending the year in a better way. We are growing our future together!
The British School of Málaga is to extend their facilities with a new Primary building, situated next to the tennis courts and consisting of a four storey structure of some 3700 square metres. This new building will house students from Years 1 (5 years of age) to Year 6 (10 years old) and will enable each year group to have a three class intake. The extension will also allow for a larger intake in Secondary and Sixth Form given that the main building will principally be for the use of the older year groups.
Upon completion, the school which is surrounded by greenery and sits amongst more that 19,000 square metres in the residential area of Cerrado de Calderón, will be able to offer a building dedicated to each educational stage (Infants, Primary, Secondary & Sixth Form) as well as boast impressive sports facilities.
In response to parent demand, this project will enable each year group in primary to have a three class intake, will allow for a larger intake in secondary and sixth form as well as boasting impressive sports facilities. It will not only increase the number of places but will greatly improve the quality of the facilities benefitting from Food Technology, Music, Theatre, Art and ICT classrooms and a fully equipped multipurpose covered area on the ground floor which will be used for sporting and cultural events.
We are very excited about the project and look forward to seeing it take shape shortly.
