Our academic calendar is adapted around the British school holidays and the local Málaga holidays. Generally, we follow the local calendar except for certain days.

The school year starts at the beginning of September and finishes at the end of June with the exact dates varying slightly each year. We observe the local holidays (Christmas, Semana Blanca in February etc.).

The year is divided into three terms: the first is September to Christmas, the second from January to Easter and the third from Easter Monday until the summer holidays at the end of June.

We also have a short break mid term usually consisting of one or two non-teaching days to recharge our batteries.  Half-term breaks incorporate the November Bank Holiday weekend (1st November) during the first term, Semana Blanca (February) during the second term and May Day in the third term.
