Admissions Process
Welcome to the Admissions Department. We are delighted that you are interested in finding out more about The British School of Málaga! Our website outlines what we offer here at The British School of Málaga.
Students are taught the British Curriculum by teachers who are English native speakers. They complement their studies with subjects from the Spanish curriculum with a view to achieving both British and Spanish qualifications.
However, we believe that the best way to get an understanding of what we do and envision your child’s future here is by coming for a visit.
Our Admissions Department is open all year round and we would be delighted to welcome you at our school. We will have the opportunity to discuss the curriculum in more detail, as well as visit the classrooms so that you can get a feel for our learning environment.
We want the whole family to experience what it is like to be part of The British School of Málaga, so your children are welcome to come for a Taster Day where they can join a class of their age group and see what our school day is like.
We look forward to meeting you soon!

Admission Process
Our doors in the Admissions department remain open throughout the year, looking forward to the opportunity to welcome you into our school community, regardless of the season.
The admissions process follows a structured approach to ensure a smooth transition for your child into our educational environment:
1. Contact us
Please reach out to us to schedule a visit to our school or to arrange a virtual call, especially if you are currently abroad.
2. School Tour/Virtual Call
This stage provides us with the chance to meet you and your child, allowing a deeper understanding of your child’s needs and interests. We will delve into our curriculum and show you our facilities, providing you with a glimpse into our amazing learning environment.
3. Assessment/Taster Day
We may request your child’s previous school report (if applicable) and organize placement tests if necessary. Furthermore, we may invite your child to a taster day at our school, allowing them to immerse themselves in our community.
4. Acceptance
Upon successfully completing the assessment process, you will receive an offer in writing, giving you a fixed period (between 5 to 10 days), during which we will reserve a place for your child as you proceed with the registration process.
5. Enrolment
Congratulations! Your family is now part of our School Community.
Our fees
The British School of Málaga is a private school and the Admissions Department is open all year round, both to help with the admissions process and also to aid with the enrolment of new students. The majority of our students start school in September although we also have some students who start at the beginning of each term or even part way through a term.
We would love to hear that you have chosen us to be your school! Once you have made a decision, we recommend that you complete the enrolment process as far in advance as possible in order to guarantee a place. We also in some cases have an early enrolment discount which can be applied to the enrolment fees.
You can consult the current academic year fees in the following document. We will be happy to help you if you have any questions.
