The British School of Málaga proudly celebrated its 25th Anniversary on Friday evening with a special event that brought together alumni, current families, staff members and distinguished guests to commemorate a quarter-century of educational achievement, community spirit and social responsibility.Held in a warm and celebratory atmosphere, the event reflected on the school's remarkable journey since its foundation, highlighting its growth, achievements and lasting impact on generations of students.The evening began with a welcome address from the school's Principal, Mr Rumistrzewicz, who thanked the entire school community for its continued support and commitment over the years. Guests also had the honour of hearing from Miguel Briones Artacho, Territorial Delegate for Educational Development and Vocational Training, and for Universities, Research and Innovation, who highlighted the school's significant contribution to education across the province. The event was further honoured by the presence of the Consul of Denmark, reflecting the international outlook and strong global connections that have characterised The British School of Málaga throughout its history.One of the most memorable moments of the evening came from alumni representative Ms Clark, whose heartfelt speech reflected on her experience at the school and the enduring connections formed within the BSM community. Guests also enjoyed a wonderful musical performance by Ebanehita A. (Year 13), whose talent captivated the audience.The event also welcomed César Ramírez, founder of Bisturí Solidario, who shared inspiring words about social responsibility and the positive impact that educational communities can have beyond the classroom.Beyond celebrating 25 years of educational excellence, the event also carried a charitable purpose. Proceeds from the evening will be donated toBisturí Solidario, the non-profit organisation founded by César Ramírez, which works to improve access to healthcare and support vulnerable communities through humanitarian and medical initiatives.The celebrations concluded with a cocktail reception, offering attendees the opportunity to reconnect, share memories and celebrate together.
