Summer School - from 30 June
Sixth formers, aged 16 - 18, take full ownership of their learning journey by choosing the subjects that best suit their desired academic and professional future. They prepare to obtain their A Levels and Spanish university access exams and access prestigious institutions all over the world and in Spain and careers guided by our dedicated staff.
Students finalise their learning journeys with specialised lessons leading to A Level exams, building a personalised curriculum to gain access to their desired careers.
Students who wish to access Spanish universities complement their British studies with elective Spanish courses to obtain the necessary Bachillerato and Spanish university access exams certifications.
Students develop cognitive, digital fluency, communication and global skills through sports, clubs and ISP's ILOS Programme and cultural exchanges.
Learners master English fluency while continuing to grow in their home language and reaching proficiency in other languages.
Students benefit from individualised mentoring by the Future Pathways Coordinator for international applications and the Spanish department supports them with validations and Spanish university applications.
Learners finalise their paths in a Sixth Form purpose-built facility including interactive screens, multi-purpose classrooms, outdoors areas and a study room, with access to advanced tech tools and all the Secondary building specialised classes.

Students prepare to obtain 3 to 4 A Level qualifications and Spanish university access exams. Both take place in the school, as BSM is an accredited A Level centre, and are assessed by an external committee.
Students prepare for an ever-changing and challenging world with confidence. Our core values of Creativity, Aspiration, Resilience and Empathy act as a roadmap to develop life competencies that leave a meaningful mark in society. Digital awareness and literacy is ensured through a conscious use of technology as an EdTech school. Students often attend assemblies on current topics, including the role of Artificial Intelligence in everyday life. Students learn to embrace different cultures and points of view through school key events, including Black History Month and Diversity Month.
Mastering fluency in both English and Spanish, sixth former demonstrate they're ready to explore the world, pursue global opportunities and take part in exciting international experiences. They can also join our dedicated language clubs and practice their skills among each other.
Students connect with peers globally through enriching global experiences. They participate in an exchange programme in Germany and cultural trips to London and Florida, including a visit to the Kennedy Space Centre. Learners take part in the debate forum of the European Youth Parliament discussing pressing contemporary matters with peers. As part of International Schools Partnership, they also access global opportunities with other ISP sister schools:
Students intensify sessions with their mentors, benefitting from daily monitoring on progresses and moments of reflection on which subjects to specialise in. Sixth formers also gain from the Future Pathways Coordinator, which processes applications for admission to British and international universities and supports in crafting grades tracking, cover letters and merit statements. The Spanish department provides similar support for Spanish university applications, including preparation for the Spanish university access exams and diploma homologation.
Students complement their British studies with Spanish classes, supported by a Spanish Department that coordinates compulsory Spanish Language and Cultural Studies and the required subjects to access Spanish universities. Our expert team ensures that obtained Bachillerato qualifications are recognised by the Education Delegation of the Andalusian Regional Government, guaranteeing a seamless transition from a British education in school to a higher Spanish education.
